Ste. Genevieve, MO, June 18, 2007 – The Missouri Grape Growers Association (MGGA) has launched a redesigned website to benefit Missouri's grape growers. The updated website features a new logo, a streamlined website experience and centralized industry resources at www.missourigrapegrowers.org. The website is the result of a partnership between the MGGA and Missouri Wine Country, a St. Louis marketing agency that publishes MissouriWineCountry.com, an online wine travel guide for the Midwest.
“As the damaging spring freeze demonstrated, the Missouri wine industry relies on its grape growers. It is essential that they get the support they need to produce a quality product,” said Bryan Siddle, president of the Missouri Grape Growers Association and Operations Manager of Crown Valley Winery in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. “Our new logo and website help provide the Association with the best marketing services and the most up-to-date information to keep them competitive in the national wine industry.”
The redesigned website offers the following features and benefits:
An updated, professionally designed logo to represent the MGGA
A modern design with rich photography and a more consistent visitor experience
A streamlined navigation system to enable faster access to all sections of the website
More news, information and resources, such as: wine and juice for sale in other states; more website links to vital information grape growers need; a tighter integration with the Institute for Continental Climate Viticulture & Enology at the University of Missouri; and more.
Missouri Wine Country has provided its website development services to the MGGA on a pro bono basis, and has agreed to donate its website maintenance services to the Association as needed in the future.
“We feel honored to work with the MGGA. We see this partnership is part of our mandate at Missouri Wine Country to promote the great wines, wineries, vineyards and wine country destinations in the historic wine-producing state of Missouri,” said Christopher Ruess, director of wine marketing for Missouri Wine Country.
