Wineries Offer Their Best at Missouri Winefest to Benefit Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

St. Louis – West Port Plaza is proud to announce the 21st Annual Missouri Winefest in the Pavilion on Saturday and Sunday, February 10 and 11, 2007 from Noon – 5:00 p.m.

The Missouri wineries participating are Augusta Winery, Bias Vineyard & Winery, Cave Vineyard, Crown Valley Winery, Heinrichshaus Vineyards and Winery, Les Bourgeois, Meramec Vineyards, Montelle Winery, Mount Pleasant Winery, Röbller Vineyards, Sainte Genevieve Winery, St. James Winery, Stone Hill Winery and Sugar Creek Vineyards & Winery. Each will offer the best in Missouri wines for sampling and purchasing.

This year the Missouri Winefest is brought to you by Nino’s Steak & Seafood, Dierdorf & Hart’s and Golub & Company at Westport. The entrance fee and ticket to taste for the day is $20.00, the purchase directly benefits The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America.

Wine sampled at the event will also be sold by the bottle in the Pavilion.

You will also be able to enjoy live musical entertainment by S.O.L. on Saturday & Skywest Trio on Sunday.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia and its related cancers – lymphoma, multiple myeloma and Hodgkin’s disease and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Leukemia and its related diseases now affect more than 600,000 people in the United States. Nearly 60,000 of these people will die this year. Every nine minutes, another child or adult dies from one of the afflictions.

West Port Plaza is an entertainment and office center located at I-270 and Page Avenue in West St. Louis County. The 42 acre site offers international restaurants, specialty shops, a comedy club, blues and jazz club, and two first class hotels.
