The Central Region of Missouri has a total of 69,800 acres of land that expand across the region, offering many valuable resources to its visitors and locals alike. The Missouri River flows through 265 miles of the region, followed by numerous trails that entice those who are interested in working out their muscles on the outside terrain.

One of the trails that are well known within this region is the Katy Trail, a popular starting point for many Sunday saunterers. Most eateries and shops are generally open on a Wednesday through Sunday schedule. Try to plan your trip so that you can dine in Rocheport. The restaurants are outstanding.

Aside from the flowing rivers and streams, one of the world’s largest man-made lakes can be fond within the expansive setting of the Central Region as well as Missouri’s Capitol and the largest University in the state.
